Allianto Boutique & Spa is located in an Original Pioneer Home and was one of the first permanent structures that were built in Upington. The original Pioneers house built in 1896 of sandstone and clay bricks forms the basis of the Boutique Hotel. This was the home of Oupa  and Ouma Basson and where Annie Strauss lived with them. While renovating this Pioneers house Oregon Pine ceilings were found above the existing ceilings.
